Course Content

Anatomy & Body Analysis
The focus is on the deep autochthonous skeletal muscles and their interplay within muscle chains. How individual structures collectively shape posture, movement, and tension is systematically explored. Postural patterns are read and analysed to tailor the massage precisely to each client's individual structure. Palpation technique and breathwork in deep tissue massage complete the anatomical understanding.

Massage Techniques
The work begins with correct ergonomics and body posture — the foundation for a sustainable practice without physical wear. Building on this, grip techniques using the fist, thumb, and elbow are taught, complemented by specialised Bodymind Therapy methods. Indications, contraindications, intake assessment, and communication complete the professional skill set.

Exam & Certification
The certification is optional. Without taking the exam, you will receive a certificate of attendance. Full participation in all course days (or making up missed sessions) is required in both cases.
Self-Practice — A minimum of 25 hours of massage practice on volunteers, carried out independently between in-person sessions. Required for certification.
Details on the exam, self-practice requirements, and cancellation policy can be found in the FAQ.

Who is this Module for?
For graduates of Module 1 who want to develop their practice towards intensive deep tissue work.
Particularly relevant for those who work — or aspire to work — with athletes, physically active clients, or people with chronic tension and pain.
This module is also suited for therapists with an interest in rehabilitation and prevention, as well as those who want to ensure their own working technique remains body-friendly long-term.
