  • Essential cookies ensure the website operates correctly (e.g., session cookies).

  • Non-essential cookies track usage and help us improve our services.

You can manage cookie preferences in your browser settings. If you disable cookies, the functionality of the website may be limited.

5. NEWSLETTER

Sending our email newsletter via Wix

In this section, we explain how we handle newsletter registration, dispatch, content, and the evaluation of user interactions.

Consent to Subscribe

If you wish to subscribe to our newsletter and receive it regularly, you must provide a valid email address and consent to the processing of your personal data. This consent is collected through two methods:

  1. Double Opt-In: In most cases, after registering, you will receive a confirmation email as part of the double opt-in process. This ensures we have explicit consent to activate your subscription and prevents misuse of third-party email addresses. You will need to click the confirmation link in the email to complete your subscription.

  2. Checkbox for Free Downloads: In certain forms, such as when offering free downloads (e.g., an eGuide), you subscribe to our newsletter by checking a box to confirm your consent. This method does not use a double opt-in process but is still fully compliant with GDPR. By checking the box, you consent to receive our newsletter, which you can unsubscribe from at any time.

In both cases, we store the time of registration, confirmation time (where applicable), IP address, and the text of the consent provided for documentation purposes. Your email address is used exclusively for sending the newsletter unless you have expressly agreed to additional uses.

Tracking and Analytics

Our newsletters may include small, invisible files called beacons, which enable us to evaluate and improve our content. These beacons allow us to track:

  • When the newsletter is opened

  • Click behavior on links within the newsletter

  • The IP address, browser, and time of interaction

We use this information to better understand user behavior and optimize future content. If you wish to avoid this tracking, you can prevent the loading of images in your email client settings.

Legal Basis

The newsletter is sent based on your consent, in accordance with Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter a and Article 7 GDPR. The analysis of click and open rates is conducted based on our legitimate interest in optimizing our offers, under Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter f GDPR.

Third-Party Service Providers

The newsletter is dispatched using Wix (40 Namal Tel Aviv St., Tel Aviv, Israel). Wix’s privacy policy can be found here. We have concluded a data processing agreement with Wix, in compliance with Article 28 GDPR.

Unsubscribing

You may withdraw your consent and unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by using the link provided at the bottom of each newsletter. Upon unsubscribing, your data will be immediately removed from our mailing list.

7. TOOLS FOR TRACKING & ANALYTICS

7.1 Google Analytics

For the purpose of tailoring our website to user needs and optimizing it continuously, we use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; hereinafter “Google”). The responsible service provider in the EU is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”).

In this context, pseudonymized user profiles are created and cookies are used. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website—such as browser type/version, operating system, referrer URL (previous page visited), host name of the accessing computer (IP address), and time of the server request—is transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. This information is used to evaluate the use of the website, compile reports on website activity, and provide other services related to website and internet usage for market research and demand-oriented design purposes. This information may also be transferred to third parties where required by law or where such third parties process the data on Google’s behalf.

Your IP address will not be merged with other data from Google. IP addresses are anonymized to ensure they cannot be associated with any individual (IP masking). You can prevent cookies from being stored by adjusting your browser settings; however, please note that doing so may limit the full functionality of this website. Additionally, you can prevent Google from collecting and processing data generated by the cookie relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available here.

Alternatively, especially for mobile devices, you can opt out of tracking by Google Analytics by clicking [this link]. An opt-out cookie will be set to prevent future data collection when visiting this website. This opt-out cookie applies only to this browser and only to our website and will be stored on your device. If you delete the cookies in this browser, you must set the opt-out cookie again. Further information on data protection in connection with Google Analytics can be found in the Google Analytics Help Center.

This tool involves data transfers to third countries, which means that the collected data may be transferred outside the European Union and the European Economic Area. We have concluded Standard Contractual Clauses with the provider to ensure GDPR-compliant data processing. However, it cannot be ruled out that U.S. authorities may access the data for monitoring and surveillance purposes without any legal remedy available to you.

7.2 Google Ads (Remarketing & Conversion Tracking)

We use Google Ads on our website. Google Ads is an online advertising service provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). We use the remarketing feature to show interest-based ads to users of our website. This is done through cookies that analyze user interaction, such as interest in specific offers, allowing targeted advertising on other sites after the user has visited ours. These cookies identify a specific web browser on a particular device, not a person; no personal data is stored.

You can disable the use of cookies by Google by downloading and installing the plug-in available here.

For more information on Google Remarketing and Google’s privacy policy, please visit: https://www.google.com/privacy/ads/

We also use conversion tracking with Google Ads. When you click on an ad served by Google, a cookie for conversion tracking is stored on your device. These cookies expire after 90 days, contain no personal data, and are not used for personal identification. The data collected through the conversion cookie helps us create conversion statistics for Google Ads users who have opted in to conversion tracking.

You can prevent cookies from being stored by adjusting your browser settings. Additionally, you can disable interest-based advertising from Google and other networks by going to Google’s ad settings or About Ads.

For more on privacy and your options, visit: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/?fg=1

7.3 Google Tag Manager

We use Google Tag Manager to manage JavaScript and HTML tags required for the implementation of tracking and analytics tools. This service is provided by Google Ireland Limited, Google Building Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland.

The tool itself does not collect personal data but helps manage scripts for analyzing traffic and visitor behavior. It supports remarketing, targeting audiences, and optimizing websites. For more information on Google Tag Manager, visit:

7.4 Facebook Pixel / Custom Audiences

With user consent, we use the Facebook Pixel on our website, a tool by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”). The pixel allows us to track user actions after they’ve interacted with a Facebook ad. This helps us measure the effectiveness of Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes. The data collected is anonymous to us, but Facebook may link it to your account and use it for its own purposes in accordance with its data policy.

A cookie may be stored on your device for these purposes. This consent is only valid if the user is at least 16 years old. If you do not want data collected through Custom Audiences, you can disable the feature here.

8. DATA SECURITY

Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments. We employ appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data from accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction, or unauthorized access by third parties.

Please note that data transmission over the internet cannot be guaranteed to be completely secure from third-party access. We accept no liability for any damages or claims arising from such security vulnerabilities.
