Key Terminology

The foundational language of anatomy is introduced systematically — from the planes of the body and directional terms to the primary forms of movement. It forms the basis for precise communication and safe, effective work in practice.

The Skeletal System & Joints

The central bony structures of the body are explored in their functional role for posture and movement. In addition, the main joint types are examined, along with their respective ranges of motion and limitations.

The Muscular System

The functional relationships of the musculature are conveyed through origin and insertion, as well as the interaction of agonists, antagonists, and synergists. Key muscle groups are used to illustrate movement principles and tension patterns. Different forms of contraction are contextualized within movement and stabilization.

Muscle Palpation

The targeted localization and differentiation of muscles marks the transition from theoretical understanding to practical application. Through selected muscle groups, sensitivity to tissue structures, tension states, and individual variation is refined. Palpation is established as the basis for precise, adaptive work.
