Preparing for Your Online Session

A brief preparation helps you get the most out of your online session. This simple checklist will help you make sure your space, technology, and surroundings are set up so you can feel comfortable and fully engage in the process.

Checklist for Your Online Session

  • Is your webcam at eye level? This allows for natural eye contact and greater presence.

  • Is your chest area visible? Important for breath and expression – keep it in the frame.

  • Have you set up a quiet space? Ideally, a place to sit and lie down comfortably, undisturbed.

  • Can we see your whole body when standing? For movement work, full visibility – including your feet – is helpful.

  • Is your privacy protected?  Make sure no one can overhear or interrupt – it creates safety.

  • Do you have a caffeine-free drink nearby? Water or tea supports focus and groundedness.
